Product Introduction

EPS concrete prefabricated components are standardized prefabricated units manufactured in factories. These components include EPS concrete standard blocks designed for various purposes and configurations. Additionally, they encompass integrated prefabricated elements such as beams, floor slabs, walls, door frames, and roofs. The product range can be applied to complete sets of residential and industrial buildings. Once these prefabricated components are produced, they are transported to the construction site for assembly, directly contributing to the concept of prefabricated modular construction.

Advantages of Building with EPS Concrete

EPS concrete prefabricated construction offers several benefits, making it a highly promoted construction model due to its simplicity, speed of construction, high thermal insulation performance, seismic resistance, and cost-effectiveness. The primary advantages are as follows:

1-Thermal Insulation

EPS concrete's numerous closed air bubbles and low thermal conductivity result in excellent thermal insulation performance, a feature lacking in regular concrete. A 30cm-thick EPS concrete wall offers thermal insulation equivalent to a 1.5m-thick brick wall. During frigid winters, indoor temperatures remain warm when outdoor temperatures are -5°C, indoor temperatures can reach 10°C. Similarly, in summer, indoor temperatures remain relatively cool when outdoor temperatures are 33°C, indoor temperatures can be maintained at 26°C significantly reducing heating and cooling energy consumption.

2-Fire Resistance

The primary material of EPS concrete buildings is inorganic, verified by authoritative bodies to withstand temperatures exceeding 1000°C for over 2 hours without emitting toxic gases. Its non-combustible properties meet national Class A fire standards. It is difficult to ignite when exposed to open flames or high temperatures, significantly enhancing its fire resistance.

3-Sound Insulation and Seismic Resistance

Being a porous material, EPS concrete's prefabricated floor components can reach thicknesses of 40-50cm. These components possess certain toughness and elasticity, significantly improving sound insulation and seismic resistance properties for roofs and floor surfaces. The sound insulation capability is 5-8 times that of regular concrete, meeting sound insulation requirements for various building types like residences and factories.

4-Lightweight High Strength

EPS concrete has a low density ranging from 150-1000 kg/m³, approximately one-third to one-fifth that of regular concrete. Its compressive strength ranges from 0.73 to 3.0 MPa, and tensile strength ranges from 0.08 to 0.73 MPa. Incorporating this material in building structures such as interior and exterior walls, floors, and levels can reduce the building's weight by around 25%, enhancing component load-bearing capacity. It can be used in seismic intensity zones up to and including level 9.

5-Efficiency and Cost Savings

EPS concrete construction is remarkably swift. Due to its lightweight nature, installation requires only standard cranes and mechanical arms. High precision installation eliminates the need for plastering, avoiding cracking issues associated with double-sided plastering or mesh hanging on brick walls or GRC panels. Within 1-2 days, walls for a single-story 80 square meter house can be constructed, costing over 30% less than traditional housing.

6-Environmental Durability

EPS concrete employs expanded polystyrene foam, widely used in food production, children's toys, and cushioned furniture manufacturing, ensuring human safety. This material exhibits high durability, featuring waterproofing, moisture resistance, frost resistance, UV resistance, resistance to microbial growth, minimal aging, and minimal deformation. Experts estimate the service life of EPS concrete houses to exceed 100 years.

7-Breathability and Comfort

EPS concrete's honeycomb-like structure, composed of numerous independent bubbles, offers suitable ventilation properties, providing a comfortable indoor environment similar to residing in a wooden house. Unlike organic insulation materials that might compromise indoor air quality due to decreased wall ventilation after enhancing a building's airtightness, EPS concrete maintains good indoor air circulation.
